The Earth and Space Sciences Department requires the following supplemental information:
- Parts B and C from the UCLA Graduate Division application forms
- Personal statement
- 3 letters of recommendation
- 2 sets of official transcripts from all institutions attended since
- secondary school
- GRE Official scores
- TOEFL scores (if applicable)

Application begins in September of the previous year. The deadline for receipt of all materials is January 15.

Fees and Estimated Costs
The University of California, Los Angeles is a public institution. Registration fees and tuition (where applicable) are assessed on a quarterly basis. California residents are only responsible for registration fees; non-California residents (including U.S. citizens, Permanent Residents and International students) are subject to nonresident tuition in addition to regular fees.
